HABITAT GOES GREEN!
GO GREEN WITH HABITAT! Most of us have inkjet printers at home or work. Next time you have an empty cartridge, PLEASE DON’T THROW IT AWAY! Just put it in a Ziploc bag or the original cartridge box and drop it off at any Central Bank of Lake of the Ozarks location or your local church. We will be paid up to $5 per cartridge and we are helping to save the planet! All proceeds go to build more homes in the spirit of humanity.
We have an immediate need for an individual with a pickup truck, van, and/or trailer willing to pick up donated items from private homes and businesses one day per week. Please contact Les Nockunas at (573) 346-4787 or Lon Harlow at (573) 346-3236 for more information.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! If you love prowling the aisles at local hardware stores and lumber yards – enjoy fixing and organizing things – or just want to help recycle building materials while supporting adequate housing – the Resale Store needs your help! Cashiers – Assist customers with sale of merchandise, operate cash register and make change with accuracy. Do minor cleaning and merchandising when not busy at register. Stockers – Assist with resale duties and stock shelves; also ensure the operational quality and safe use of donated electrical items. Accept and ensure the quality of donations and assist customers with loading and unloading. Truck Driver – Drive our 20-foot box truck to pick up large donations. Drivers must have good driving record. Anyone interested in volunteering can contact Chris Reth, Volunteer Coordinator at 573-317-1843 or E-mail her at ChrisReth2@aol.com. Whether it is one or two days a month or a couple of days a week, your time… DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
